Viktoria is an hungarian member of the euro parliament, in charge of monitoring the situation of the rom gipsy communities accross europe.

Today she was in rome and visited the two biggest ghetto where the rom are living.

to the question “how are the ghetto camp”? she answered:

“I’ve seen more the one thousand people living in horrible conditions, specially in the second one (casilino 900) are not even guaranteed the minimum conditions of safety and healty.there is no water, no electricity, people living in………….human and civil rights such as access to sanitary help and schools are not available for these people.”

Who is the responsible for that shame? of course the wonder Walter Veltroni, the actual leader of the opposition that managed this town for the last 8 years. The one that after the experience of mayor was supposed to go to africa as a volunteer. He didnt go, maybe because he discovered that african conditions of life are not too far from here.
