the stones in the park

Hi folks, this town has several parks whre you can enjoy some shade and green after hours of visits and traffic.

Inside many of there parks you will find old buildings or statues remembering our fathers or some particular period of our history.

Here is some suggestion based on my preferences and experiences

Villa Ada – once residence of the italian royal family was sold to egypt at the time the king wos forced to move after the second world was.

Since 1945 is the residence of the egyptian ambassador but a big part is open to public.

Villa Torlonia – once residence of Mussolini has been recently restored. Pretty small comparing to Villa Ada but very gracious.

Villa Borghese – once residence of one of the most important dinasty back in the old times. maybe the most interesting of them all for eautiful lake and the museum galleria borghese wich is one of the cultural jewel of the town. its very close to via veneto. its really worth arriving until the pincio and his breathtaking view of piazza del popolo.

Villa Pamphili – another majestic residence and great park. where one of the last emperor of the first republic wanted to make the italian downing street in LUiGI XIV style. In 1992  escaped to tunisia to avoid to answer to a lot of questions about a lot of money. On his tomb is written “the law is equal for everyone except me and god”.

lots of stones in these parks, telling you part of beutiful or sad stories.

i want to leave you a video with orher stones, the rolling ones, at a time when their energy was in full shape and was contributing to change the world.

have a green day in any of these parks
